Was wonderful to look pictures about Vilkaviskis, the region where were born my grandparents Antanas Sidaravicius and Ursule Maliskaite, from Pajevonys! They came in Brazil in 1926! I’m a brazilian but I love Lithuania!

Surprised that no one in the comments submitted suggested that the pictures identify what they show, plus other pertinent info. in English. It would add greatly to the video. People of other countries and many who are descendents of Lithuania would I’m sure appreciate it. It would be more meaningful for me to share this video with them.

This show made me cry, my father and I visited Lithuania a year ago. My grandparents were both from there. I found the village Zapalimai were my grandfather was from only several homes left. Still looking for my grandmother’s village. The country is so beautiful, it was the best time for me and my father. I hope to return soon. Thank you for the wonderful show and rekindling the memories. Our last name was Zalieskas but was changed here in the USA.
